Presidents News. Finals are Here

It’s hard to believe that for some of our players the season ended last weekend with the final home and away round. It seems like only yesterday we were all lining up on registration day.

To those of you that have finished for the season, I hope you tasted some success, made some new friends but most of all enjoyed your footy.  Thank you for representing St Marys so well throughout the year and we look fwd to seeing you all again next year in the Teal, White & Black.

  • Under 12 Girls v Kew Comets – McLeod Park @ 12.30pm

Firstly congratulations to all these teams that are playing finals and we wish you all the best of luck for your games on the weekend.  Do the Burra Proud!  I urge all members to try to get to get to a game on the weekend and support your fellow St Marys players.

This Sunday Night

This Sunday night the rooms are still open.  We invite every player and their family and friends to come along and celebrate what has been a great year.  We will acknowledge the teams who will wrap up their season on Sunday and wish the teams continuing in the finals all the best of luck.

Pizzas will still be served free for the kids and there will be wedges served for the adults for a nominal charge .  You will still have the chance to win a Seafood Tray valued at over $100 for only $2.00 in the raffle.

Why not come down and have a pleasant Sunday evening at the club.

Presentation Nights

With the season drawing to a close we have finalised the dates for each age groups Presentation night.  More details on each will follow in coming weeks.

Major Raffle

The clubs Major Raffle was drawn last Sunday night at the rooms and I am pleased to say that the prizes were all won by some great St Marys families.  The Joker Jackpot even went off for the second week in a row.

Enjoy your footy, and I hope to see as many of you as possible either at the games or on Sunday Night
