 Not the note to finish on we wanted. Having to even up numbers worked against us, but you kept working hard to the end. Thanks to all the players for a good season, we didn't win as many as we would have liked, but it wasn't for lack of effort.  Tough day against a quality football team. St Damiens skill level was much better than ours and their ability to hit targets was much better than ours. The endeavor was there but we sometimes don't help ourselves by giving it straight back to the opposition. 5 Weeks left, let's stick together and wee how many wins we can manage.

 There was a bit to like about how we played, but at the end of the day it's all about taking your chances when they present, and we wasted a lot of opportunities going into our forward line. Our work rate was pretty good but Fitzroy were a bit smarter with their ball use.

 What a nail biter! A great first 3 quarters set us up for what should have been a comfortable win. To the credit of Greythorn though, they showed they wanted to really win the game and took it right up to us. It shows you need to play the entire game out and not be happy with 3 quarters. Good to have Arthur back. Special mention to Livo for 5 goals including the sealer.

 Great win boys and a really good game of football to watch. Fitzroy ran hard in the 1st quarter as did we. They got a bit of a jump early but to your credit you kept running, tackling and competing hard. In the end it was a really well deserved win against a willing opposition. Great run and carry especially after 1/2 time. Keep working hard at training and we can only get better.
