Dear Members,
It is hard to believe that this weekend sees the final round of our home and away season.
To our Tackers & U10 teams who do not have finals, I hope you have enjoyed the year and look forward to seeing you all back next season. Our Under 10’s have the inaugural lighting premiership round this Sunday which will be a great reward for your efforts this season – best of luck boys.
From 18 teams in the U11 and above age groups, 11 have either qualified for finals or have the opportunity to do so this week. Best of luck to those who need a win or for other results to go their way this weekend.
For all of those whose season ends this weekend, a reminder that we require your playing jumpers back after the game.
MAJOR RAFFLE: if you have not returned your raffle tickets as yet, the final opportunity to do so is at the canteen BEFORE 3 PM on Sunday as we will be drawing the winners on Sunday evening.
FINAL ROUND CELEBRATIONS – our traditional final round celebration will be held this Sunday night. This is always our biggest Sunday night of the year and all members are invited to come along and either celebrate their end of the season, or look forward to finals. The night will feature:
· Roast Beef & Roast Pork rolls free of charge to all members – thanks to our sponsors Karve it Up and resident chef, Bernie.
· The drawing of our major raffle – someone might walk home with a $3500 voucher
· The traditional seafood & joker jackpot raffle. The jackpot has now risen to $500 and will go off Sunday night as we will continue to draw tickets til someone gets the cash.
· The final luck number Rebel sport draw
The rooms will open at the completion of the Colts 1 game at Whatmough Park, why not come down for the colts who need a win to assure their spot in finals and stay on for the celebrations.
