Celebrating 40 Years of our Great Club!
Heritage Round – This Sunday Round 12 – 14 July 2013
Our great football club is celebrating its 40th Anniversary this year. From humble beginnings with only a couple of sides back in 1973 we now are one of biggest and most successful junior clubs playing AFL football fielding 22 sides with over 500 kids running onto the field each weekend.
As a part of the celebrations for our 40th Anniversary the club has organised for our Colts teams to play in our own “Heritage Round”. To commemorate this special occasion our boys will take the field in a specially designed once off Heritage jumper that is designed to reflect our past present and future. The Colts games will commence at 1.00pm with Colts 2 followed by our Colts 1 game at 3.00pm.
We have held off officially unveiling our 2012 Colts 1 premiership flag so it could coincide with this special day. In the break between the two games we will be raising our Premiership Flag Members of our victorious 2012 Colts 1 Premiership Team have been invited and the club would like to formally invite all club members to come along and celebrate our successes of the 2012 season and our 40th Anniversary.
Stay on and watch as our present Colts boys try to emulate this success and create their own piece of St Marys history.
After the football is finished everyone is welcome back up to the rooms for a continued celebration of our big day.
