| Today we started the game in very tough conditions with pouring rain and strong winds. Beverley Hills were very desperate and put the score on the board early. We all tried our best, however Beverley Hills were too good on the day. St Marys be proud of your efforts today! Thanks boys for a great yeat, your friendship is much appreciated. | Today we played against the top side. For 3 quarters we took it right up to them. We showed that hard tackling and fast play on football will worry the opposition. We have had a great year which we are very proud of. We are playing finals football and we will make an impact. Great season boys! |

| We went into todays game very under manned with 6 players out through injury and sickness. However we really showed the St Marys team spirit, we tackled hard and our running game was fantastic. Beverley Hills proved just too tall in the end and that got them across the line. | We definately had 2 halves of football, our first half was brilliant "team" football. We moved the ball quickly and cleanly up and down the field. Everything we talked about before the game we put in to play. However after half time we went to sleep and Ivanhoe came back hard. If we want to be competitive in fials, we need to play 4 quarters. |

| Today we came up against a very focused and hard tackling team in Canterbury. They tackled hard and led us to the ball all day. We need to come tothe game switched on to play from the first bounce if we are to be competitive. Let us train hard this week and bring our best game against Ivanhoe next week. |

| Today the boys came switched on. Our "play on" football was at its best. We moved the ball into the corridor as we practiced on Tuesday night. Every player contributed and did their job. Our discipline is the key to us winning and enjoying our football. Well done, great team effort. |

| Fantastic standard of football today. We moved the ball well with long kicks. Every boy did their job and our 3rd quarter was our best quarter of football for the year. Today showed with continual strong tackling and lots of pressure we are a very good side. We went down by just one kick. Let's keep up the effort and we will win more games. |

| It all starts at training and it showed with a good night on the track and we took it into the game. The boys showed great endeavour and stuck to their jobs all day. Coen, Sacco and Noah were strong across half back in the first half. The boys came from behind at 3 quarter time for a strong win. Well done all 21 players. |
