| A great way to finish the seaon with a thumping win over the 2nd top team. The way the boys developed over the year to play a great brand of selfless footy was nothing short of sensational. Thanks for 3 great years and the support given to me from the boys and parents and the St Marys Junior F C. I have enjoyed every bit of it. | We have organised a huge end of season celebration for this Sunday night for all our teams who are finishing this weekend, including hiring a marque & arranging additional food catering for the night. We would like to see every Coach, Team Manager, Player & parents from all our teams who are playing their last game this Sunday at the clubrooms from 5.00pm on Sunday, so we can continue the St Marys tradition of getting each of these teams up on stage to recognise their efforts throughout the season. |

| In windy conditions the boys fought hard for a half but left too much to the regular triers in the second half. | On a windy Sunday afternoon, we arrived with a much undermanned team. But the boys came to play. With Bundoora eveningup to 16 a side, the boys ran it out with a hard earned win. Bundoora took it up to our boys with some hard, skillfull footy, but the boys ran it out to the end. Keep it up Burra. This week was a great win against the odds. With a full side, we will be a formidable team. |

| 3 phone calls morning of the game - 3 cases of the flu. Its hard to win with 17 players and 1 injury during the game, however that is no excuse for not giving a 100% effort during the game by alot of players. It's disappointing that when the game is not going our way, alot of our players drop their heads instead of trying to pick themselves up. It's a case of leaving too much to too few. Next week let's all have a red hot go and the result may surprise. |

| Up against a very good team in Kew our first half we had too many boys unaccountable for the opposition, hence the 50 point margin. In the second half we took responsibility and showed we could match it with the best and were only outscored by 2 points. Next week we need a 4 quarter effort and who knows, we may even stay in Gold. |

| The team performed very well in trying conditions and with no available players on the bench. This week was a big improvement on the previous, particularly with their attitude and commitment. The boys also displayed endeavour and worked to play well for team mate Nick Smith who was playing his 100th game. Their were a number of highlights, the majority being in the team aspects like supporting, shepherding, running and encouraging each other. |

| Attitude is everything, Accountability is everything. Bar a handful of players we lacked in both departments. The boys are now in Gold which is a big step up, but there is no excuse in letting your opponent dominate you the way most of our boys did.
