Round 15 - 07/08/2011 St Mary's Under 13's Gold 1 .1 .7 vs. kew 3 .12 .30
Another hard fought effort to finish off a difficult season. Well done to all the boys on finishing the season so well. We all know where our improvement can come from and I can't wait to start working hard together to achieve our goals together. Thank you so much to everybody who helped and got behind the team this season. GO BURRA!

Round 14 - 31/07/2011 St Mary's Under 13's Gold 1 .2 .8 vs. Beverley Hills 10 .5 .65
After hearing of our captain breaking his ankle, the boys stood up today. As a coach I couldn't be more proud of how the boys stuck together and took it up to Beverley Hills. We even won the last quarter which means we're playing full games of football now. Well done boys!
Goal Kickers:
Cummane
Best Players:
Another Great team effort
Encouragement:
Jamison Shea on stepping up to Captain the team well. Luke Bunker may your recovery be smooth. We hope to see you back on two feet very soon.
Round 13 - 24/07/2011 St Mary's Under 13's Gold 2 .12 .24 vs. Doncaster Heights 3 .7 .25
2 goals 12 behinds - say no more, that's not to say the boys never tried hard today, they definately gave there best efforts. However, one more goal, one less behind - we win. Practice makes perfect boys!! A gew extra kicks at goal before or after training could of made the difference!

Encouragement:
Nathan Latross for his second and third efforts.
Round 12 - 17/07/2011 St Mary's Under 13's Gold 10 .6 .66 vs. Ashburton 4 .9 .33
A really good team effort today. The boys all became accountable today. We realised today that there is alot more to football than just taking a mark and getting a kick. The things needed to win football. We started to do sheppards, hard running, lots of talk and picking up the loose man. Makes us a hard team to beat. Well done boys.
Goal Kickers:
Kett (3), Todd Mc (2), Tom (2), Jack S, Zack Mc
Best Players:
Green, Dean, Cutting, Bunker, Kett, McDowell, Brasier, Jack Saccetta

Round 10 - 26/06/2011 St Mary's Under 13's Gold 1 .8 .14 vs. Bulleen Temp 9 .8 .62
Another great start to the game, but not the four quarter effort. We need to take it up to the top teams. A few injuries during the game didn't help, however, we were beaten by a team that played four quarters of solid football.
Goal Kickers:
Scuderi
Best Players:
Khoury, Bunker, Awad, Ceraso, McDowell, Kett, Latross, Cummane.
Encouragement:
Mitch Green for putting his body on the line all day.
Round 9 - 19/06/2011 St Mary's Under 13's Gold 2 .4 .16 vs. Camperwell 9 .3 .57
A game we really needed to win today we let slip through our hands. After a few really good weeks of football and signs of vast improvement, today we brought none of those things to the table and Camberwell made us pay. A few really good efforts throughout the match was no match for our oppositions full four quarter efforts. I'm confident our boys know we need to switch back on and work hard again in the up and comings weeks.
Goal Kickers:
Cooper, Josh Posar
Best Players:
Bunker, Cummane, Thompson, Dean, Sacchetta, Green
Encouragement:
Chris O'Brien for returning to the field after receiving a heaby corked thigh and finishing the game out really well.
To all parents, please stay focused on encouraging our boys during games and ignore comments from oppostion supporters. I know it's not easy at times but please remember our boys are out there trying to make us proud of their efforts. Proud parents are not the ones yelling abuse onto the ground!
Round 8 - 05/06/2011 St Mary's Under 13's Gold 6 .4 .40 vs. Kew 9 .11 .65
We went down to a very well drilled Kew team. The boys seemed flat on Wednesday and never found the zing shown in the previous weeks. With a few boys out of the team this week and others going off early, the boys fought hard. Well done boys and I think the week off may be what the doctor ordered.
Goal Kickers:
Blakey (2), Jamo (2), Thomson and Bunker
Best Players:
Shea, Bunker, Thompson, Cutting, O'Brien and Latross
Encouragement:
Nathan Khoury for continuing to work very hard down back every week.
Round 7 - 29/05/2011 St Mary's Under 13's Gold 4 .5 .29 vs. Beverley Hills 5 .1 .31
Its not very often that we come awy from a loss satisfied, however, we played our best game of the season against a team that has easily beaten all sides it has played this year. Only three points separated both teams at the final siren and I hope this shows our boys that hard work and concentration at training brings good results on game day. Well done boys. Keep striving hard to reach out GOALS.

A great win today and our boys were switched right on before the bounce. We had numbers ar every contest prepared to be first for the ball and under the packs. Overall a great team effort. Another big week on the training track and I'm sure we can take it right up to Beverley Hills next week. Well done boys!

Round 5 - 15/05/2011 St Mary's Under 13's Gold 4 .5 .29 vs. Ashburton 8 .6 .54
A disappointing effort today. After a good win last week, our boys let themselves down today. We all expected a much better effort.
Goal Kickers:
Bunker (2), Thompson and Latross
Best Players:
T McDowell, C Brasier, Blakey and Bakoulas

Round 4 - 08/05/2011 St Mary's Under 13's Gold 4 .17 .41 vs. Ivanhoe 3 .3 .21
A great feeling having our first win for the season. All credit must go to the boys after a hard start to the season. The effort and commitment at training has been top notch. We still have alot of hard work to do and I'm sure with the positive attitude the boys have shown so far, more success on the field is not far away. Well done boys.
Goal Kickers:
Cutting, Braiser, Blakey and Kett
Best Players:
Blakey, Scuderi, Larosi, Brasier, Cutting and Thompson

McInnes - a great first game back, added some much needed height to our team.
Round 3 - 01/05/2011 St Mary's Under 13's Gold 5 .5 .35 vs. Bulleen Temp 16 .4 .100
A great start to the game, however Bulleens endeavour and bigger bodies proved to be too hard for our boys to get on top of.
Goal Kickers:
Bunker (2), Poser and Li Rossi
Best Players:
Jamo, Khoury, McDovell, Awad and Scuderi
Encouragement:
Chris O'Brien for 100% commitment and effort all day.
Round 2 - 10/04/2011 St Mary's Under 13's Gold 3 .5 .23 vs. Camberwell 3 .5 .23
A much better effort this week, however we still couldnt manage a win. The boys started the week at training positive and brought this to the game. We still need to work on our fitness, marking and kicking to targets. If we keep working hard at these things we will continue to improve each week.
Goal Kickers:
Bunker (3)
Best Players:
L bunker, R Matlioski, C O'Brien, J Dean and Lirosi

Round 1 - 03/04/2011 St Mary's Under 13's Gold 2 .0 .12 vs. Kew 11 .7 .73
Coming up against last years premiers was never going to be easy. Our boys battled hard all day, however we know we have a lot of work to do to be competitive against these types of teams. Lets get to training boys and train hard and I'm sure the improvement will be evident soon.
Goal Kickers:
