We can't give a team a 1/2 head start and expect to win. Second half was a better effort. Great to have Matt Watkinson back.

We believed in ourselves and the result reflected this. This was our Grand Final today boys and we were terrific. Well Done! Be proud you were outstanding today

Up against some quality opposition today. We battled hard need to keep working as a group and supporting each other. Good effort on the whole.

A good effort once again, but just fell short in the end. Unlucky to hit the post twice in the last quarter and with a touch more intensity - could have got the points.

Tough game of footy played today boys. Good second half just need to believe we can match it with ALL sides for a full 4 quarters.

Terrific win boys. A very important game and we trreated it that way. Sets us up for the season after the break. Well done.

Nice to get back on track with a win boys. Played the zone well, manned up well and game instructions were followed throughout.

Round 6 - 22/05/2011 St Mary's Under 13's - Green T 6 .6 .42 vs. Hawthorn citizens 8 .14 .62

Well done Danny Martin on 50 great games with 'The Burra'. Boys again 3 quarters of solid footy, however a drop off was the difference., Let's look at the many positive points that came out of the game and believe that we can take it up to any of the top sides this year.

Round 5 - 15/05/2011 St Mary's Under 13's - Green T 3 .7 .25 vs. Banyule 9 .5 .59

A very competitive game for 3 quarters, unfortunately a loose last quarter was the difference. Boys we need to work on a full game, staying aware of our opposition and our game plan.

Goal Kickers: Iacobaccio, Rolfs and Watkinson Best Players: Roughsedge, Rodda, Gaggiano, Azzopardi, Zerella and Recchia Encouragement: M Watkinson - played tight in the backline all day. Very brave with his injury in the last quarter.

Round 4 - 08/05/2011 St Mary's Under 13's - Green T 3 .10 .28 vs. Parkside 5 .5 .35

After some lazy first half football, the boys played a tremendous last quarter and a half. Keeping the opposition scoreless in the second half, really showed what the side is capable of when we run and support our team mates. Well done lads, a game that all of our supprters can be proud of.

Boys, a great win. Listened to instructions, played team footy. Ball usage was tremendous, picking out targets and sharing the ball. Well done.

Well done boys we turned up today to play. Great team effort. Disposal of the ball was a fantastic improvement from last week. Loved the way we listened and followed instructions. Enjoy the school holidays.

Good first up effort by the boys. Endeavour and intensity was certainly there at times. Only difference between the 2 sides was our kicking disposal. New lads settled in well and an enjoyable year is expected ahead.
