Semi Final - 14/08/2011 St Mary's Under 17's - Colts 1 11 .4 .70 vs. Banyule 9 .18 .72

Great game of footy, just fell short. Had chances but just can't give other team head start's. I hope it does burn inside boys, you'll learn from this. To the bottom age boy's - a lot of you grew up today and stamped yourselves as worthy of Colts 1 next year. To all those top age boys who played Colts 1 – Jarrod Bunker, Jarrod Millett, Daniel Dober, Mark Jacobson, Tom Cooper, Matthew Egan, Luke McCann, Pat Waldron, Nick Daisley, Keenan Posar, Pat & Alex Korda, Luke Collins, James Cilia & Daniel Girolami - thank you for allowing me to coach you and be a small part of your football career.Good luck and best wishes with whatever you decide to do with your future endeavours in life and football. Made it through boys, well done on reaching finals. Lets train well and apply ourselves this week.

Slow start, always felt we were coming - just poor execution early in a spiteful game. Well disciplined approach in a game of no standing. Great goal Daiser!!!!!

Not much to take from the game, other than exposure to different positions for some of the players. The message is to be switched on mentally this week and only this week.

Getting better team efforts with each week, just some basic errors to work on as well as a to continue to increase the work rate against better rated sides, as you cannot afford to drop off at all. The gap has closed and you've had a good look at the opposition - you know what to expect.

Really good effort under tricky conditions. Couple of crucial turnovers proved costly but a lot to take from the game. No training Tuesday, see you all at cycle class on Thursday.

Nice win, controlled the game early and defence worked hard rebounding with strong midfield support to limit opposition scoring opportunities.

Not much to take from this game as was one we expected to win. Focus on this week to establish ourselves inside the 4.

Ordinary effort against a really disciplined side. Alot to learn from - we are alot better than that - but we need to do the team things - more on it this week.
