Once again we have proven that we can be competitive against good opposition. Being beaten by only 19 points has shown that as a group we have improved dramatically as the year went on. In previous clashes with Kew going down by 96 and 41 points. Our intensity, skill level and passages of play were fantastic and to our boys credit we never gave in and played the game out until the final siren. Well done boys on a great year.

Its amazing what a little bit of confidence can do. Today our skill level, teamwork and linking up was fantastic. after last weeks win the boys were really keen to make it back to back wins. We had a point to prove today as earlier on in the year we were regarded as the easy beats. Next week we look forward to our next challenge. Great game boys. Keep up the good work.

It has been a long time coming, but today proved we can win games. It all began at training with a really solid session and the guys were determined and confident they could notch up a win against good competition. After a slow first quarter, we focussed and re-grouped and played 3 hard fought quarters to come away with a very memorable win. Keep it up boys.

These 2 teams were at opposite ends of the ladder, so we were expecting a hard game. Our first quarter effort wasn't up to scratch and we knew we could do better. After re-grouping we started to show more desperation for the hard ball. After half time, we gave the opposition a real scare kicking 3 quick goals and started playing a good brand of football. Even though we got beaten by the top team, the guys never stopped trying. Keep it up boys and have a good break.

As in recent games, we got off to a slow start, allowing the opposition to score some easy goals. As the trend would have it, our second half was much more competitive and again our last quarter was fantastic. We need to turn things around by putting pressure on early in the game and not giving our opponents early opportunities. In muddy wet conditions, the boys really tried their best but unfortunately came up a bit short. Remember boys, never give in. Well done Burra!

Today was a game of two halves. The first half we really struggled and the boys didn't seem to be switched on. In the second half someone flicked the switch and the boys played with some real intensity, putting pressure and doing the one percenters had the opposition worried. Well done boys.

Today was possibly the worst defeat ever, not for want of trying but we were totally outplayed. On the day our skill level and teamwork was not up to our usual standard. Today was a game of two halves. The first half we really struggled and the boys didn't seem to be switched on. In the second half someone flicked the switch and the boys played with some real intensity, putting pressure and doing the one percenters had the opposition worried. Well done boys.

Today we were beaten by a team who were more committed and determined to win the ball. As a team, we need to get that hunger back so we can be more competitive.

Today was possibly the worst defeat ever, not for want of trying but we were totally outplayed. On the day our skill level and teamwork was not up to our usual standard. Today was a big lesson in manning up and running hard and with a bit of hard work we will get better. Lets keep our heads up high for next week we will bounce back. Well done boys.

After trailing at half time in a lack lustre display, the boys regrouped and came out in the third quarter to play a better brand of football. In a come from behind win the boys showed desperation and proved that teamwork and hardwork really doea pay off. Well done boys on never giving up. True Anzac Day spirit.

In a hard fought tussle the boys stuck together and gave it their best. The use of teamwork kept us in the game, with a final quarter attack from the opposition. We never gave up and came away with a memorable win. Well done boys!
