| The team tried their best and worked very hard throughout the game, but we just couldn't find a way to score. Richmond proved too good when it counted most, particularly their backline. | What a great win against a great team in Glen Iris, the difference was we had 22 committed players prepared to win the hard ball. Our backline was superb with their toughness and attack on the ball restricting them to 3 goals. | A great game to end the home and away season. St Damians didn't give up for the whole game but our skill and team work was too good on the day. It was very hard to make moves on the interchange bench with so many players playing well and everyone has hit great form leading into the finals. Well done. | It was a great team effort today, but unfortunately we had to play against our own club. The game was played at a high standard, the type of game people would pay money to come and see. Unfortunately Luke Guerin was knocked out in the 3rd quarter and had to go to hospital in an ambulance, but his courage inspired his team mates to hold on and win the game. The club is in good shape with so many great players running around in both sides. Good luck for the rest of the season. |

| We failed to handle the windy conditions at Richmond today. We played well but were unable to convert up forward, we missed alot of scoring opportunities. Our backline was fantastic all day under huge pressure and they should be proud of themselves. |

| A great team effort today with every player playing well. The windy conditions made it hard to play our normally skilful game, but we handled it better than Fitzroy. | We hard a slow start and up until 3 quarter time Bulleen-Templestowe were right with us. I asked for a big effort in the last quarter and you boys didn't let me down, kicking 6 goals to nil to come home strongly. Our backline were brilliant today and our midfield ran hard all day. | It was hard to pick our best players, due to a great team effort, our attack of the ball was hard and fierce. We ran hard through the corridor and we had 2 or 3 players running past every marking contest. The opposition flooded our forward line, but our classy forwards were still able to take strong pack marks. We ran the game out strongly again, which proves that 2 nights of training is paying off.
