We have organised a huge end of season celebration for this Sunday night for all our teams who are finishing this weekend, including hiring a marque & arranging additional food catering for the night. We would like to see every Coach, Team Manager, Player & parents from all our teams who are playing their last game this Sunday at the clubrooms from 5.00pm on Sunday, so we can continue the St Marys tradition of getting each of these teams up on stage to recognise their efforts throughout the season.

Tough day at the office today. Started with 18 players and played the whole last quarter with 17 when Bull went off injured. The boys tried hard all day and held out a determined opposition. Well done boys, today you made St Marys JFC proud.

Today we played like the scoreboard indicated. To many times players were caught behind the opposition. Every time we got the ball we kicked it to our opponents. The vision was lacking as was the intensity for the ball. If we want to win any more games we have to play as a TEAM. You have the ability. Keep your heads high - regroup and turn up for training.

Today was what you call a hard day at the office. Before the game commenced, we were down to 15 players and were missing some bigger bodies. Against a top team, the boys toiled well for 3 quarters but had only scored 2 behinds. Things clicked for them in the last quarter as they outscored the opposition. Well done boys, the improvement since the start of the year has been great. The effort today was great and team play in the last quarter fantastic. Thanks to U13 boys who helped out.

Boys, the train left at quarter time today. Too many passengers, too much left to few. It's important that we play as a team and not individuals. After a slow start, we struggled against a running side. To be competitive we must do the basics, play man on man and look for each other. Next week we play a top side, lets regroup and show our true spirit. Keep your heads up boys!

Great game boys! You trained well and it showed on match day. You held Ivanhoe to a 2 goal quarter in the first, they had a howling wind. Great defensive work. Started slowly in the first half. No accountability, no run or defensive pressure. However it all turned around in the second half. We held them to 2 goals and had plenty of opportunity to score many more. We have to learn to play in front. Signs are good for next week. Believe in yourselves boys!
