 A good win to finish off the season. We came out from the blocks and set up the win in the first quarter. We played a good open style of play and as result there were always options to kick to.  As I said after the game I don't think it was a case of Ashburton playing that much harder, rather it was a case of them playing smarter. They were more disciplined in sticking to their game plan than us. Learn a lesson from it and think about how we can put that into our game.

 After an ordinary first quarter it was good to see you all dig deep and produce a match winning effort in the next 3 quarters. Our tacklng intensity and willingness to work hard for each other lifted, and as a result we came up with a good win. That's the sort of effort we need to keep bringing for the next 3 games.

 Great win in very difficult conditions. Perhaps the best work rate you have shown all year. Getting in first for the ball in wet conditions is always important and you did that very well. The tackling was also first rate and the ball use was excellent, especially considering the heavy ball. Enjoy the week off.

 Warrandyte showed us what a good side is and showed us what the level is that we need to. they were bigger, stronger in the air for sure. We needed to adapt to that and play a bit smarter. the 1st quarter was great, we took the game on and ran and carried the ball, but after the we were second to the ball. We need to develop a better work ethic.

 A good win in heavy conditions, Our attack on the ball was very good for 4 quarters. I think we didn't use the space as well as we could have. AK lines should suit us and let us use the available space, but we didn't work quite hard enough to find that space. From now on we have to make sure we keep the consistency up.

 Another good win boys. After a scrappy first quarter you started running harder in the 2nd quarter and as a result started kicking goals. It was a good disciplined effort, for the most part we played our style of game. Enjoy the Sunday off next week. A special mention to Joel, who broke his finger last week and will miss a few games, Hopefully it heals quickly and we see you back on the ground sooner than later.

 Played the 2nd team today and they showed us why they are where they are. They ran hard and ran in straight lines. So did we, but unfortunately it wasn't for the whole game. In the first half, we went step for step with them and played great football, but in the second half, we sat back too much and let them dominate. Our skills need sharpening up and the best place to do that is at training.

 Another good effort today and some more encourgaing signs. You are starting to be a bit more predictable for your teammates and startin to play the type of game I'm looking for. We basically lost the game through fumbles and skill erros, which we can only fix by working harder at training. Keep working hard, a win is not far away.
