 Unfortunately we left our run too late and the final siren beat us! A tremendous effort and fantastic season! I would like to thank Rick Cutting for his tremendous help throughout the season. Brian Dryburgh excellent and diligent performance as team manager. Adrian Castagnini for his role as runner as well as Joe McHenry for being the team doctor. St Marys we stand proud!  Unfortunately, we didn't taste the honey! But St Marys we stand proud! We were beaten by the better side on the day. It was a terrific 3 1/2 qtr effort, but fade towards the end! We have worked hard throughout the season to earn a double chance. We now play Kew Colts for a chance to play in GF, lets avenge defeat! Go the Mighty Burra!

 Today we were up against the most powerful side of the season and they gave us a football lesson! They were tall, fast and strong, just too good for us. But, I thought we had a good crack at them.  Today was a tough day at the office. We were in front all day until the last few minutes. But I must say even though I am disappointed in the result, I am not disappointed in our endeavor, attitude and more importantly, effort!
