Dear St Marys GJFC Members,

It’s round 8 this weekend and that marks the half way point for the season.   Earlier in the week I sent an email to all members reminding you of our club code of conduct and expected behaviour on match day.  I can’t stress enough the importance of ensuring these rules are abided by.

Sunday Night is Under 12’s & Under 15’s Night.

For the first time this year we are sharing the night between or  Under 12’s & 15’s this Sunday, June 15th starting from 5.30pm.

The St Marys JFC would love to invite every player and their family and friends to come along and celebrate the season, have a few drinks and make some friends!   We will as usual provide complimentary pizzas for the players to eat.  We will also be serving Lasagne and Salad for the adults at the very reasonable price of $7.50.  The bar will be open as well so please make the effort to come down and celebrate what is a huge part of our football clubs fund raising effort.

There will be the Joker Jackpot – your chance to win $300 cash for just a $2 outlay or a Seafood Tray valued at over $100 donated by Fishi Business who are situated on the 1st Floor of Greensborough Plaza!  The choice is yours.  At worst if you don’t select the Joker you receive a consolation prize of a bottle of St Mary’s wine.

There will also be the Lucky Guernsey Number Giveaway.   A number will be drawn at random and a player who wears that Guernsey number this season will walk away with a $25 Rebel voucher.  If there is more than one player with that number we will draw for them again with the losers getting a consolation prize.   That’s three chances to win something on the night!!!   As usual all are welcome to come down on Sunday night.

Social  Update Ladies Night: 21st June

Ladies Night is next  Saturday 21st June.   Numbers attending are building but there is still room for more.  If you haven’t let your team manager know now is the time or you can contact Karen King directly to book your spot.  Karen.shaw@techinfo.com.au.

Come along and let your hair down, have a few drinks, dance the night away, win some great prizes and take home a goodie bag.  Tickets are only $50 and include a free daiquiri, finger food, a fashion parade and music by DJ Tony.   Evening starts at 6.00pm and goes till late.

Sportsmans/Ladies Luncheon – Friday 18th July at the Clubrooms.

This year the club has new and exciting event planned for all club members….that’s right don’t let the name fool you…Ladies are more than welcome!   With football greats as our special guest speakers

and Funny Man Des Dowling hosting the day, it’s sure to be a great event Cost is only $60 for a 3 course meal with drinks at bar prices.  More details to follow soon but keep the date free.

Gala Dinner – Friday 1st August

Our biggest social event for 2014 is fast approaching with the Gala night scheduled for Friday 1st August.

This is always a great night where we celebrate the success of the season and bid a farewell to our Top Age Colts boys.   This year we are at a new venue with a new menu. $85 a head includes pre dinner drinks, savouries, a  4 course meal, beer, wine, softdrink and live music.  That’s great value!!!
