With only 2 rounds of the home & away season left we look forward to finishing the season on the high. To the teams in contention for finals, keep up the good work & best of luck in your games this weekend. To those not so lucky, keep your heads high, it is the nature of the graded YJFL system that not every team can make finals every year. Be proud of your efforts and continue to fight out the season in true Burra spirit.

ST MARYS JACKETS – it has been pleasing to see so many supporters looking smart and showing their colours in the new St Mary’s Jackets. To join the crowd they are available for purchase at the canteen or at the bar on Sunday nights.
DINNER DANCE / GALA BALL : thanks to everyone for getting their bookings in last weekend. Numbers are looking great and we look forward to a fantastic night. If you have not booked and would like to attend we need to know before the end of this weekend.
MAJOR RAFFLE: a reminder that raffle tickets are due back to your team manager this Sunday. The prizes are awesome – your choice of store voucher to the value of $3000, $1500 or $450, so please make the effort to sell your book and return this weekend.
This Sunday Night is the last of our age group nights and focuses on our Under 13 & Under 14 Age Groups:
Speeches 6:00 PM – our 13’s & 14’s coaches will give an update on their season so far
Kids Food – Pizza’s for all players and siblings at 6:30 PM
Adult Meals – we will be firing up the Gioffre Deep Fryer and serving plates of wedges & dim sims & potato cakes for $5
Raffles – Drawn 7 PM: a magnificent seafood platter donated by Fishi Business at Greensborough Plaza and the opportunity to win $300 cash in our joker jackpot.
Lucky balls – a number will be drawn out of the box and one player in attendance who wears that guernsey number this year will walk away with a $25 Rebel Sport voucher.
Next Sunday Night 9th August will be our traditional end of season celebration. All members encouraged & invited to celebrate our achievements over the year and also features the drawing of our major raffle.
