This Sunday Night: Under 12’s Night
I am encouraging all U12 Players & Families to get down to Whatmough Park for a couple of hours to support the club. It does mean a great deal to us to see the rooms full. As always all members very welcome.
Food: Free pizza for the kids from 6:30 strictly on a first come, first served basis. Adult meals this week will be lasagna. Guest Speakers: Our U12 coaches will update on their season so far Raffles: The Joker Jackpot increases to $275 & second prize will be a $50 club voucher to use on merch, social events or over the bar . Once again a lucky player will grab a $25 Rebel sport voucher in Lucky Balls.
NEXT WEEK – Indigenous Round. This will be a great night at the club so please plan to come along. A current indigenous AFL footballer will be our special guest as we celebrate our indigenous culture and promote reconciliation through sport. More details next week.
Our Special Design Indigenous socks are available this year for all players to purchase and wear next Sunday for $10. Please pre-order your pair on Sunday via your team manager. Social Events LADIES NIGHT – this Saturday 21st May Thanks to everyone who has booked, if you haven’t done so or are still sorting your plans or baby sitters tickets will be available at the door.
Poker Night Friday 3rd June: We really need to get some idea of numbers by this Sunday for catering & organising purposes by this Sunday. This promises to be a fund night whether you are an experienced card shark or just a novice – tuition is provided and the atmosphere will be relaxed and forgiving on those less knowledgable. Best of all, this is our major fundraiser for our much needed redevelopment of our Greensborough Park rooms so please purchase your ticket this weekend. Tickets available at the canteen, over the bar Sunday night or via your team manager on Sunday. From Around the Club:
