Another tough week against a quality opposition in Whitehorse Colts. This is our second big loss in a row and we still could not be be happier with the boys efforts. The boys fought hard all day and kept battling through to the final siren. It can be very easy to become disheartened in situations like this but the boys remained positive and supported each other for the entire game. Well done for continuing to try your best boys!

Today we came up against the top of ladder Camberwell in very cold wet conditions. Camberwell came out firing and as we expected and got out to a handy lead at quarter time. To the boys credit we were able to stick with them for the rest of the game but were just outclassed in the end. It was really pleasing to see that the boys did not drop their heads once during the game. There were a lot more shepherds laid this week and the boys kept encouraging each other to the very end. All very positive signs from the boys. Well done again!

What a fantastic effort by the boys today. The boys are sticking to their structures well and are playing great team football. Balwyn were a tough side but our tackling pressure and ability to run in numbers got us over the line in a tight game. Our backline held up well all day and were able to run and carry the ball into space. We will continue to work on our basic skills over the next couple of weeks and will continue to improve as the season progresses. Well done boys!

Great start to the season for Under 11 red. T he boys moved the ball well all day and tackled ferociously. In only their second game together the boys are getting used to some of the structures that we have put into place and will only keep improving as the season progresses. It was pleasing to see all of the boys sticking to the team rules that we have put in place this season as well. Lets keep working on our kicking and marking over the Easter break and come back ready for our next game. Well done boys!

Great game by the boys today. We started the first quarter strong with 3 goals thanks to quick ball movement from the midfield. It was a tight game after that and the boys were able to hold their nerve for a terrific win. The most pleasing aspect of today's game was that the boys were prepared to push back and man up quickly as soon as the ball turned over. Well done on another great effort boys.
