Awesome win today boys, a great game of footy. We started off well and kept the pressure on up to half time. We let them back in a bit in the 3rd quarter and looked like we were tired. In the last quarter we picked it up again and kicked 4 goals. It was very encouraging to see us using each other. Let’s finish the season off doing the team thing.

Today is one of those days where the score does not reflect how we played. I felt that this was one of our better games today. We never, ever gave up and it was encouraging to see us working together as a TEAM. We still need to work on our decision making at times and be careful kicking into packs where we are outnumbered. Overall though, excellent pressure across all four quarters.

Great game today boys, we were in front most of the game and ended up losing with 20 seconds on the clock. Our backline held up well supported by our on ballers, but we didn't clear the ball out from half back effectively. It was a very physical game and I felt our boys stood up well. I know you will all be disappointed losing to Glen Iris with less than 2 minutes on the clock. You should all be proud though of the games you played.

We generally played well for most of the game and certainly had a lot more of the footy and forward entries in the first half. The boys backed each other up and helped each other out, looking for each other and moved the ball around well given the conditions. We need to work on using our opportunities up forward, but overall I think it was a good all round team effort.

We let ourselves down today with basic skill errors. Some of our kicking and decision making was poor and we lacked in the contests. We are a better football team than this, but it shows that if we don’t come to play we will get beaten. From here on out we need to be more disciplined.

Today we played last year’s Premiers and drew the game, in a match that was fantastic to watch as a parent and I reckon even better as a coach. Canterbury put a lot of pressure on our backline, but we stood strong. Next week we all need to raise our eyes and look for each other. We also need to improve our kicking to leads. Having said all of that, it was a great all round effort.
