What a great finish boys. We started with a great 1st quarter but dropped off the next two quarters. Last quarter we spoke about that we needed to stop watching the ball, we dropped the first half but then we changed and gave a great finish. A big thank you to the whole team for the last 40 seconds left that gave us a goal to win by 3 points. |

Great second half of football. the first half wasn't a good game of football. We didn't talk, we were lazy and just didn't' want the ball. I pulled you in at half time and we spoke about changes, which gave us as parents a game to watch. We listened and we did. Although we didn't score we stopped their scoreboard. We will put in place at training some structure and we will run with that. Great effort. |

A tough game to start the season against Hawthorn Citizens being a much bigger side than our boys. Saying that our boys tried hard all day and gave it there very best considering we have a lot of new players to the side and club. First game played together as a team so it was hard for all boys.
