Riverside Cricket club this Saturday 17th February are holding their Pink Stumps day to raise funds for cancer. The Cricket Club over a long period have been strong supporters of the Junior Football Club and in return the Committee have made a commitment to attend this day. If you are free and wish to support this cause feel free to join us. See Pink Stumps & Gracie’s Gift Day further details.
The Junior Football Club committee over the off season have been working hard on a Vision and Values Statement which seeks to highlight what our Junior Club stands for. (The statement can be found at Vision and Values. As part of this we have made some major commitments for the 2018 season. These include:
- A further capital improvement of Greensborough Park. We have made a commitment to realign the goals and put in catch nets, so children are not chasing footballs into the carpark as well as putting in more spectator seating.
- A commitment to provide our coaches with more support. We have signed on with Dynamic Footy who will be holding several information and skills sessions for our coaches. The first of these will be held on the 25th February. This commitment also includes giving them the best tools possible to teach our Children.
Go Burra!!!
