Dear Members,
As stated last week we had 11 teams play Semi Finals and had some great results. 5 of our teams won their Semifinal and advance straight to Grand finals next week. They are U14 Gold, U13 Brown, U12 Red, U15 BA Girls & U12 Girls. Congratulations to all.
With 2 wins and 1 loss 3 of our teams move on and play Preliminary Finals today. U15 Div 3, U14 Black and U12 Gold. Best of luck to all.
And unfortunately 3 of our teams were knocked out of finals and their season finished, Colts 2, Colts 4 & U15 Div 5. Well done to all on a great season. For some of our Colts this was their last game of Junior football, with a number of boys being at the club since Tackers and playing over 150 games. To the top age boys we say farewell, thank you for playing at St Marys and we wish you all well in your future football careers wherever they may take you.

The 2015 YJFL Best & Fairest awards are being held next Tuesday 25th August. It is my pleasure to announce the below players from our great club have all been invited to attend, which means each player has finished in the top 10 players as voted by the YJFL umpires for their division. Best of luck to all that have been invited and hopefully we have some trophy winners on the night.
For the club to have 26 players invited is a great result and I am sure all the players would like to thank their coaches for helping develop their football skills.

Greensborough Park upgrade.
Some more good news is that the Council have completed some major work to the front of the pavilion at Greensborough Park and have installed drainage and new concrete as discussed with them at the start of the season, the best part is that is hasn’t cost us a cent. This will go a long way to making the ground safer and more enjoyable for our use in future seasons. They have also done a lot of work leveling the playing surface and re seeding. Further upgrades as previously mentioned are still in the pipeline with funding being investigated, hopefully we will have good news to pass on by the start of next season.
The club rooms are open tonight for all. Come on down to catch up with friends.
