With summer holidays over & school back, we are getting focused on making 2015 a fantastic year at St Mary’s.
REGISTRATION
Thanks to all who have reregistered already. If you have not registered you should have received a reminder via sporting pulse with the link to re-register. Given a number of families are just getting back into normal routines after the holidays we have extended our early bird offer to Friday 6th February. If you register & pay before this date the 2014 fees of $230 will apply with a $50 discount for each additional sibling. As well as taking advantage of the discount, it helps our football & property department immensely if we have an early idea of numbers for the 2015 season so we can plan on how many teams we need to cater for in terms of coaches, team managers, playing jumpers, equipment etc. Your assistance in registering early will be greatly appreciated.

If you, or someone you know is transferring from another club, there is a different process. Please email the full name & date of birth of the player who needs to be transferred to smgjfc@gmail.com and we will process the transfer and be in contact to let you know how to pay.
A reminder that this year you will need to pay in full online before your registration is complete. SEASON LAUNCH DAY – SUNDAY 22nd FEBRUARY 10 AM – 2 PM at the clubrooms.
Now that our registration is done online, we have renamed our traditional registration day – Season Launch Day and will be held at our main clubrooms on Sunday 22nd February between 10 AM and 2 PM. On this day you will be able to:
Pick up your 2015 free merchandise – a new design St Marys Backpack
- Purchase St Marys merchandise including playing shorts, socks, hoodies, polos etc
- Have a professional mouthguard fitted by our dentist
- Meet the 2015 coaches and Age Group Managers and receive important information regarding the 2015 season
- Enjoy a free sausage sizzle & can of drink
- Meet and ask questions of the 2015 committee
- Meet and receive offers from our sponsors
We will have computers available for anyone who needs assistance registering, however we do encourage you to register beforehand where possible.
CALLING ALL ASPIRING FILM DIRECTORS !
As part of a submission for a grant to assist in the Greensborough Park clubrooms renovations we are required to produce a short you-tube video.
The brief is to produce a short video that demonstrates why we need the funds as well as representing the spirit & culture of our club – as well as being funny . We are not looking for professional film makers – just somebody who has a great idea and basic filming & editing ability. Given there are probably 500+ of our players who have more skills in this area than I do, I would love to hear from anybody who would like to assist.
I am sure we can open the St Marys prize cupboard if we end up using the final product & open it a bit further if our application is successful.
