For us it was all or nothing, this week and for parts of the game we were competitive. But when it come down to it, you train bad you play bad and we need to train the house down to at least be in the game. To all the players , thank you all for a most enjoyable year, I have loved the relationship that you formed over the year. Very tuff game boys, didn't help with the umpires, we still need to play the way we have been for the last two weeks and give ourselves a chance to play finals. Don't drop your heads now forget the game and look forward to next week.

With only two on the bench, I'm happy the way that the boys kept fighting all day. We have 3 games left and like the Ashburton coach said if we play like that we can win our last 3 games. That was the hardest anyone has hit them ever, good clean hard football. Well done

After a good win last week we were looking forward to todays game, we started a little slow this week, but after 1/2 time we were able to out score them. 7 goals to 5 and if we can hold that style of game for 4 quarters, we will win a lot ore games. Well done Taplin, Gedge, Howden-Crhak, Sinclair

After the long weekend break, it was good to get back into the action with a change of attitude at training the boys really started well. Their attack of the ball was as good as 2 weeks ago (Park Orchards). That's how we should be attacking the football hard and strong. Well Done on the good win.

Well done to Jake, Hamish, Ryan on their milestone games, for our boys it was another game where it was played into halves. 1st half we didn't man up and were soft at the ball, the 2nd half we were so much harder at the contest and manned up to win the 2nd half. Thanks to Scruff, Liam, Demp's and Hairey on helping out. All played well, great work.

A game we should have won, we look good in spurts, but we can drop our game for 10 mins and we let it slip away. We have to learn to stick to and play to what we are doing at training. Well done to 'Hocko' on a great 100 games.

To Isaac, Jake S & Tane - well done on reaching 100 games, but also well done on playing well in a milestone game, to the rest of the boys well done. Thanks boys for a great year, it was always going to be a hard year going up to gold, but we were so close to making finals.
