Round 1 - 29/4/2007St Mary's 8.8.56 - v - Preston Bullants 4.8.32
A very encouraging start to the season, with a win against the Bullants. We pressured them all day around the ground, to come away with a 4 goal win. Some standouts for the game were Nathan Hrovat, with a lot of possessions, and Sean Money starting in the ruck, and then dominating on the forward line. Our backline kept them to a low score. Well done boys!

Round 2 - 6/5/2007St Mary's 6.11.47 - v - Bundoora 6.5.41
For a team that has come up from 'Green' last year, it was very impressive to see that the boys have taken the new challenge of 'Brown', and shown that they are competitive in every way, with 2 wins for the season so far. A very hard contest against a tall Bundoora; we stepped up and played as a team, to come away with a 6 point win. Well Done, or can I say, "GOOD BOYS", as Bundoora would say!

Round 3 - 13/5/2007St Mary's 4.2.26- v - Canterbury 5.13.43
With no subs and a big ground, all the boys played very well. The first quarter lead by Canterbury was hard to peg back on the big ground. Some good passages of play throughout the game kept us in the contest. Marcus Nolan showed some great tackles, along with Spinks, up on the forward line. Ben did a great job down the backline, and the whole team shared the workload. Well done boys.

Round 4 - 20/5/2007St Mary's 10.5.65 - v - Park Orchards 8.2.50
Four hard quarters of football and teamwork, kept Park Orchards trailing all day. A strong forward line, they could not cover us all day. Our backs and centres once again did a great job - Callum showed some great footy and Jarrod was all over the ground. Keep up the great work. Well Done Boys.

Round 5 - 27/5/2007St Mary's 6.8.44 - v - Camberwell 3.7.25
A very hard, tough physical game is what was on the menu for Sunday morning. Great to see all the boys having a joke after the game, and enjoy playing good footy. Sometimes we can take it all too seriously.

Round 8 - 24/6/2007St Mary's 8.6.54 - v - Preston Bulls 5.4.34
I am very proud to say that today would have been one of the best displays of teamwork from the boys all year. They had a game plan and stuck to it. And the reward was great, beating the Bullants, as it has always been a good contest between the two teams. Every player contributed to a great win. Well done boys.
