Thank you to all who supported our Indigenous Round last week. All the games were played in great spirit and it was a fantastic night back at the club on Sunday night to recognise the Anne-Marie Halewood medallists. Thank you to Ian and Ben for representing the family and acknowledging the recipients of this special award.

A big thank you to Travis Clayton and Trinity Mills who spoke about their time working with Indigenous communities as part of the Footy’s 4 All program in far north Queensland!!!!!! It was a terrific insight into what this organisation is trying to achieve, but it was also very pleasing to see so many St Mary’s Girls getting involved and representing themselves in such a generous way.

Whilst thanking people, it would be remiss of me not to mention all the hard work of our Team Managers to get sides to their photo session on time – but there is one special thank you. That goes to Mel Read, who worked tirelessly all day to get the sides in and out of the pavilion on time so all sides could make their games. Without the time and effort she put into this day, I’m positive this day would not have run as seamless as it did.

This week Round 7 – the halfway mark of the home and away season.

Sunday Night – Under 12’s (Boys and Girls). Free Pizza’s @ 6.30pm for all players.

Don’t forget our promotion this week, gratefully supplied by Darren and Kathy Neil from TOYWORLD Greensborough. Two packs of Footy Cards and a Fidget Spinner to 12 year old’s and under. Great to get as many there as possible in their St Mary’s gear.

As normal, we will be having our Rebel Voucher for Lucky Jumper Number, as well as our Seafood Raffle, generously supplied by Fishi Business.

Also a quick reminder about our up-coming Poker Night:

Friday, 23rd June 2017 – Great prizes to be won.

Good luck to all sides this weekend and hope to see as many of you as possible at the rooms Sunday night.
