The St Mary’s Senior Footballers enter the business end of the season in good shape.
With all three teams in the top three, and the majority of the players being past juniors, it’s great to see so many of our former players continuing on with their football and enjoying success.
Saturday sees all three teams taking on Banyule away, and the following week, August 5th has Heidelberg West up against the Seniors and Reserves and North Heidelberg facing off against the Under 19’s.
With these games at Whatmough Park, the Seniors have issued an invitation for this year’s Colts and Parents and will be providing some food and drinks and presenting their plans for 2018 and beyond, which also include fielding a Senior Women’s team. The planning for the Women’s team is well under way, and more details will follow over the next few weeks.
